*WENDY FROUD est née à Detroit. Fille de l’artiste Walter Midener et de la créatrice de collages Peggy Midener, Wendy travaille pendant plusieurs années avec Jim Henson comme créatrice de poupées dans le Muppet Show et dans le film consacré aux Muppet. Les personnages plus populaires créés avec Henson sont The Gelfings, Jen et Kira, pour le film The Dark Crystal.

Wendy est extrêmement connue pour avoir contribué à la création d’un personnage fondamental du film de George Lucas, Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back : Yoda !*
